The Midwest Hazardous Substance
Research Center is hosting a commercial exhibit and poster session at the upcoming International Phytotechnologies Conference (Web Site,
Agenda, Brochure).
This is a FREE conference on the state of science and engineering
advances in pytotechnologies worldwide.
The most recent conference in 2003 attracted over 300 attendees, including representation from state and federal agencies, academia, and industries in the areas of petroleum production, chemical processing, transportation, and other utilities. Approximately 40 internationally recognized speakers from seven countries will be speaking at the three day conference. Presentation and discussion topics include measurement techniques for assessing a project's progress; phytotechnologies for use in developing economies; eco-restoration or habitat creation with remediation; fate or transport of contaminants through plants and associated eco-risk; case studies of successful applications; and case studies that illustrate regulatory process for evaluating phytoremediation projects.
Poster and Exhibitor Session Logistics
The poster and exhibitor session will take place on April 20 and 21 between 5:30 and 7:30pm. Both sessions will be in or just outside the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Montreal and Manilla Rooms. The Rooms will be open beginning 3pm on Tuesday, April 19th. Exhibits and posters must be removed by 2pm on April 22. Poster presenters will each be provided one 4' x 8' mounting board and push pins. Exhibitors should contact Jordan Radin (see below) if electricity, tables, or other equipment is needed.

There is a $10.00 handling charge per box. Skids and display cases are $38.00 per 100 lbs.
